SCORM
« Back to Glossary Index
SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is a set of technical standards that ensures compatibility between eLearning content and Learning Management Systems (LMS). It defines how digital learning materials are packaged, launched, and how they communicate learner data—such as progress and assessment results—to an LMS in a consistent, standardized way.
Standard format for packaging eLearning content so it can be shared across LMS platforms. It acts like a universal language for eLearning courses and platforms.
