What Is Completion Rate?
Completion rate is a key learning metric that measures the percentage of learners who finish a training course, module, or learning activity. It shows how many participants completed the required content compared to the total number who started it.
In digital learning, the completion rate is one of the most important indicators of engagement, course effectiveness, and learner motivation.
How Completion Rate Is Calculated
The formula is simple:
Completion Rate (%) = (Number of learners who completed the course ÷ Number of learners who started the course) × 100
